The designer admits that water has been her key inspiration in designing her current collection. In a palette of sea blues and greens and sandy beach nudes, this peplum almost looks like the waves of the ocean.

Giambattista Valli 2013 Spring Fashion Show

The key colors of the collection are, of course, black and white, but also gray and red. There are elegant dresses and sheer pencil skirts decorated with fabric flowers and lace. There are also pant suits with cropped and peplum blazers, tunics, and vests. The footwear comes in black, beige, and metallic finishes.

The models carried some clutches in black, red, and white, with some ocassional white stripes of different sizes. The focus is on jewelry while the bags are merely functional. The statement necklaces are apparently going to be big next season as it's not the first show to feature chunky pendants. The bracelets are more industrial-looking featuring chains and chunky metallic parts.

Which one do you prefer? Choose a formal dresss to go to work or attend a party.

2013 Golden Globes Red Carpet Trends

From embellishment to red, nude to fishtail, see all the fashion trends the celebrities were working on the Golden Globes 2013 red carpet.

Embellished

Thandie Newton showed off her figure in this cute mini dress, and finished her look with our favourite red carpet heel - a pair of candy-pink Mary Janes!

Emily Blunt led the embellishment trend at the Golden Globes 2013 in a gold cut-out Michael Kors dress. A sleek bun, boxy clutch and husband John Krasinski showed off her gown to perfection.

Red

Can you believe new mum Claire Danes gave birth to baby Cyrus less than a month ago?! The Homeland actress wore this plunging dress to take home her award.

Zooey Deschanel was just one of the celebs who opted for a scarlet gown at the Golden Globes, and in true Zooey fashion, she topped off her look with cute nail art featuring cameras!

White/nude

Best Drama Actress winner Anne Hathaway favours a column gown, and we loved this delicate white Chanel Couture dress - perfect with her Les Miserables pixie crop. Anne shunned any jewels to let her dress do the talking.

Our very own Michelle Dockery stole the show at the Golden Globes 2013, adding extra wow to her Alexandre Vauthier sleek white gown with an embellished gold panel. An updo worth of Lady Mary and a simple gold clutch finished her look.

Fishtail

Yummy mummy Jessica Alba looked oh-so-gorgeous in a coral fishtail dress, complete with diamond drop necklace.

Amy Adams went for a brave look at the Globes, and it definitely paid off. One of our favourite red carpet looks - just check out that tulle fishtail!

Black

Back on the red carpet, Nicole Kidman worked two key trends - cut out panels and black via one stunning Alexander McQueen dress.

Firmly back to her pre-baby best, Kate Hudson's black Alexander McQueen gown featured gold embellishment.

Our All-Time Favorite Cocktails Drinks

Looking for cocktail recipes everyone will love? From swanky martinis to casual poolside refreshers, these classic favorites are guaranteed to provide a fun and familiar feel to your next party.

Manhattan
This colorful, bourbon-based cocktail is recognized for its prominent reputation. You'll often see a traditional Manhattan in the hands of New York socialites or among ritzy, fashion-forward movie personalities such as Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot and the women of Sex and the City. And, of course, no Manhattan is complete without a cherry on top.

Dirty Martini
Despite its suggestive name, the Dirty Martini is actually quite sophisticated. This gin-based martini features a surprising splash of olive juice, making it slightly different than its dry counterpart. The salty taste creates a pleasing accompaniment to dry vermouth and gin.

Mojito
This classic Cuban cocktail features a combination of citrus, sweet and mint flavors to overpower the potency of rum and provide a refreshing taste. A mojito can be especially enjoyable on a hot summer day while lounging poolside.

Bloody Mary
This popular and complex beverage can be as spicy or mild as you like. Flavorings such as Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper can be added according to your preferred taste. Bloody Marys are most often garnished with a celery stalk, lime wedge and olives, and are the perfect accompaniment to a casual weekend brunch.

Gin and Tonic
The classic Gin and Tonic cocktail originated in the 18th century and is especially popular during the hot summer months. Typically garnished with a lemon or lime, this simple beverage is a fizzy and refreshing drink with a pleasantly bittersweet taste.

Whiskey Sour
Known for its mature taste, this bourbon-based cocktail is best when mixed with fewer ingredients and garnishes. Skip the pineapples and umbrellas — all this drink needs is whiskey, sugar and lemon juice (and maybe a cherry and lemon/orange wedge for garnish) to give it a genuine look and flavor.
